Landed cost, cost pricing and true margin
Know your true margin.
Supplier cost, inbound freight, rebates and the cost of the lot you actually shipped. Orderfy carries them through to a true margin on every order.
Landed cost is what a product costs once it is in your warehouse, not only what the supplier charged. Orderfy, ERP software for Australian wholesalers and importers, shares the supplier's freight on a purchase order across the goods it bought, keeps a cost for each lot received, and uses the cost of the lot actually shipped on the invoice.
What it does
Cost pricing in Orderfy.
Cost by supplier
Each supplier's cost is held against the product, with its history.
Freight in the cost
Supplier freight on a purchase order is shared across what it bought, so the cost in stock is the landed cost.
Cost by lot
Each receipt keeps its own cost, and the invoice uses the cost of the lot that was shipped.
Rebates
Record brand and supplier rebates for a period, so margin shows what you really keep.
True margin on the order
Cost of goods, outbound freight and supplier discounts all roll into one margin figure for the order.
Cost changes flagged
When a cost changes, the products affected are flagged so prices can be reviewed.
Does Orderfy calculate landed cost?
Yes. Supplier freight on a purchase order is allocated across the goods it bought, so stock is valued at what it cost to land.
Is margin based on average cost?
Margin uses the cost of the lot that was actually shipped, so it reflects what that stock really cost.
