Wholesale distribution software for Australian wholesalers and distributors

From the customer order to the supplier order.

Orderfy runs a wholesale business from the first quote to the paid invoice: what was sold, what has to be bought, what is on the shelf and what is on the truck.

Orderfy is wholesale distribution software for Australian wholesalers, distributors and importers. It runs quotes, sales orders, purchasing, inventory, the warehouse, delivery runs with proof of delivery, CRM and reporting in one system, with Xero built in. A customer order raises its supplier purchase orders in one step. Each business has its own database, never shared, hosted in Australia.

Wholesale distribution software: common questions.

What is wholesale distribution software?

Wholesale distribution software runs the day-to-day work of a business that buys goods from suppliers and sells them on: quoting, customer orders, purchase orders, stock control, the warehouse, deliveries and invoicing. Orderfy does all of these in one system for Australian wholesalers and distributors, and sends invoices and bills to Xero.

Does Orderfy work with Xero?

Yes. Xero is built in on every plan. Orderfy sends sales invoices, deposit invoices, supplier bills and credit notes to Xero for your accounts team to approve, and reads payments and invoice status back. Stock values and inventory journals are not sent to Xero.

Can Orderfy handle back orders and buying to order?

Yes. One step turns a customer order into supplier purchase orders, one for each supplier. Each customer line shows the purchase order it is waiting on. When the stock is received it is held for that customer and released to pick.

Do we need a separate warehouse system?

No. Bin locations, picking slips with bins, scan-checked picking, stocktakes, transfers between warehouses and delivery runs with proof of delivery are part of the Inventory & Warehouse module. It is included in the Pro and Max plans and is an add-on for Core.

Where is our data kept?

In Australia. Your business has its own database, never shared with another customer, and its backups stay in Australia. Orderfy is built for 99.95% uptime with automatic failover to a standby in a second data centre.

Is Orderfy suitable for manufacturers?

No. Orderfy handles kits and bundles, and it plans purchasing and stock for businesses that buy and sell. It is not a production system, so a manufacturer that needs bills of materials and production scheduling should look at software built for that.
